Section 1: Use of the Vehicle
The rental is personal and non-transferable. The renter agrees not to allow anyone not authorized under this contract to drive the vehicle. The renter is fully responsible for the vehicle from the moment it is handed over. The vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, for-hire transportation, competitions, or outside of Morocco. No modifications are permitted, no towing is allowed, and all safety devices must be used at every stop.
Section 2: Condition of the Vehicle
The vehicle is provided in good working order and must be returned in the same condition. Any damage will be charged. If the tires are damaged, they must be replaced with equivalent tires.
Section 3: Fuel
The renter is responsible for fuel costs. Any damage caused by using the wrong type of fuel will be charged in full.
Section 4: Maintenance and Repairs
Normal wear and tear is the responsibility of the owner. Any damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accident, or unknown causes is the responsibility of the tenant. Any issues must be reported immediately. No repairs are permitted without prior approval.
Section 5: Off-road Use
L’utilisation sur pistes, sable ou routes non goudronnées se fait entièrement aux risques du locataire. Tout dommage en résultant sera entièrement facturé.
Section 6: Insurance
The vehicle is covered by liability insurance. The renter agrees to its terms and limitations. No coverage for bodily injury is provided for the driver or passengers.
Section 7: Security Deposit
A security deposit is required prior to departure. It covers damage, misuse, loss, and downtime, and may be partially or fully forfeited.
Section 8: Immobilization
In the event of a breakdown, a daily fee equal to the rental rate will be charged until the vehicle is back in service.
Section 9: Vehicle Documents
The renter is responsible for all vehicle documents. All documents must be returned at the end of the rental period. Any loss or theft must be reported immediately. A flat fee of €150 will be charged in the event of loss, in addition to administrative fees.
Section 10: Liability
The renter is responsible for all fines, penalties, and damages, including in the event of a fall involving no third parties.
Section 11: Vehicle Recovery
If the vehicle cannot be returned to Marrakech, all recovery and transportation costs will be the renter’s responsibility.
Section 12: Payment
The rental fee must be paid in full in advance. The company may terminate the rental agreement without refund if the terms and conditions are not met.
Section 13: Misuse
Any misuse (burned-out clutch, engine over-revving, aggressive driving) will be charged in full.
Section 14: Right of Publicity
The renter authorizes Ride 2 Atlas to use photos and videos for professional promotional purposes.
Section 16: Early Return
If the vehicle is returned before the end of the rental period specified in the contract, no refund, whether full or partial, will be issued.
Section 15: Jurisdiction
Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Marrakech.
